Pangu Apple TV 4 Jailbreak For tvOS 9.0.1 Released [Download]

As promised, Pangu team has just released jailbreak for Apple TV 4 running tvOS 9.0-9.0.1. This is the first ever public jailbreak released for Apple TV 4 since the debut of the set-top box late last year.
It is important to note here that the jailbreak is compatible only with tvOS 9.0 to 9.0.1, which means if your Apple TV is already updated to tvOS 9.1.x or the latest tvOS 9.2, you won’t be able to take advantage of this jailbreak. Also since tvOS 9.0.x is no longer being signed, you can’t downgrade back to older firmware either from tvOS 9.1.x and 9.2.

You can download Pangu jailbreak for Apple TV 4 from here.

Apple Releases OS X 10.11.4 with Support for Live Photos in Messages, Password Protected Notes and More

Apple has just released OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 for the Mac to the public. Apple had first seeded OS X 10.11.4 to developers and public beta testers in January.
The new software update isn’t stocked with a plethora of new features, but it does bring support for Live Photos within the Messages app. It also supports password protected Notes.
OS X 10.11.4 also makes it possible to import data and notes from Evernote into the stock Notes app. The update also fixes an issue with opening Twitter links, which previously led to only broken paths.
OS X 10.11.4 can be installed through the Mac App Store and the Update tab, or you can manually download and install the combo update using the download link which we will provide as soon as it is available.

What Is the Difference between iPhone SE and iPhone 5s?

At its ‘Let us loop you in’ event today, Apple unveiled the iPhone SE. This new iPhone from the company replaces the iPhone 5s, which was released in 2013. The handset is a huge upgrade over its predecessor in almost every way, and makes buying a 4-inch iPhone in 2016 a viable option once again.
If you are wondering how exactly the iPhone SE is better than the iPhone 5s though, read below to find out the major and minor differences between the two phones.

Display & Dimensions:

  • Both phones come with a 4-inch IPS LCD display. However the iPhone SE display is based on a new generation IPS LCD panel that makes it brighter and gives it better viewing angles. It is also laminated that gives the feeling of UI icons floating on the glass surface itself
  • The 4-inch display on the iPhone SE comes with the same resolution as the iPhone 5s: 1136 x 640
  • The iPhone SE and iPhone 5s have the exact same dimensions and almost weight the same as well; the iPhone SE is heavier than the 5s by just 1g (112g vs. 113g)

Camera:

  • The iPhone SE comes with a 12MP f/2.2 shooter, which is the same camera setup found on the iPhone 6s. The iPhone 5s, in comparison, comes with an 8MP shooter
  • The iPhone SE is capable of recording videos in 4K resolution Full HD at 60fps, and slo-mo videos at up to 240fps. The iPhone 5s cannot record videos in 4K resolution or at up to 240fps in slo-mo
  • The new 4-inch iPhone can take panoramas in up to 63MP resolution, which is significantly higher than what the iPhone 5s can do
  • It is possible to shoot Live Photos on the iPhone SE, which the iPhone 5s lacks
  • The FaceTime camera resolution on the iPhone SE remains the same as on the iPhone 5s: 1.2MP
  • However, the iPhone SE now features Retina Flash, as seen on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus

Chip, Performance, Storage & Battery:

  • The iPhone SE is powered by an A9 chip. This is the same chip that powers the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. In comparison, the iPhone 5s features an A7 chip, which was Apple’s first 64-bit chip
  • Apple says that the iPhone SE is up to 2x faster than the iPhone 5s in CPU tasks and up to 3x faster in GPU tasks
  • The M9 motion co-processor on the A9 chip is vastly superior to the M7 co-processor found on the A7 chip
  • The new 4-inch iPhone from Apple comes with 2GB RAM, four times of what the iPhone 5s packs (512MB)
  • Apple will be offering the iPhone SE in 16GB and 64GB storage options. In comparison, the iPhone 5s was available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage variants
  • While not announced by Apple, it is all but given that the iPhone SE also comes with a faster internal storage
  • The A9 chipset on the iPhone SE also allows it to offer always-on ‘Hey Siri’ voice recognition
  • The iPhone SE offers faster LTE connectivity than iPhone 5s: 150Mbps vs. 100Mbps
  • The handset also supports more LTE bands than Apple’s flagship iPhone for 2013
  • The iPhone SE also offers slightly better battery life than the iPhone 5s: Up to 13 hours on Wi-Fi and LTE web browsing each compared to 10 hours on the iPhone 5s

Colors

  • The iPhone SE will be available in four colors: Silver, Space Gray, Gold and Rose Gold. The iPhone 5s was only available in three colors: Gold, Silver and Space Gray

While there might be some other minor differences between the iPhone SE and the iPhone 5s, the above are the differences that you should be aware of.

9.7-Inch iPad Pro Announced: Specs, Price, Release Date

As expected, Apple has officially announced the highly anticipated 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Rather than go down the existing route of releasing the latest tablet as the “iPad Air 3”, Apple has chosen to continue the convergence of the iPad range under the “iPad Pro” naming convention. What we’re seeing here is a physical product that mixes the design inspiration of the iPad Air 2 with the features, internals and performance of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. We’re going to jump right in and take a look at the details of what Apple has just announced.
ipad-pro-main
Features/Specs
Display: It may be called the “iPad Pro”, but that doesn’t mean it comes with a 12.9-inch display. This new version is a 9.7-inch offering like the iPad Air 2, but ships with a Retina display bringing a 2732 x 2048 pixel resolution at 264ppi. The biggest difference between this and iPad Air 2’s display is in the updated display technology. As a result, 9.7-inch iPad Pro’s display is noticeably brighter than iPad Air 2’s display.
Design: The design of this latest iPad isn’t going to be remembered as an instance of Apple trying to reinvent the wheel or do anything revolutionary. The old saying of “if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” really applies here with Apple pushing out a new iPad Pro that takes a lot of inspiration from the overall look and feel of the iPad Air 2. The biggest design difference between this new Pro and Air 2 is in the thickness, with 9.7-inch iPad Pro being slightly thicker than Air 2 to accommodate newer display tech and other components.
Processor/RAM: This one will please those consumers looking for a smaller, but highly capable iPad. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro ships with the same integrated A9X processor that breathes life into last year’s extremely powerful larger 12-9-inch iPad Pro model. Additionally, in a similar fashion to the larger iPad Pro, there’s also an accompanying 4GB RAM that really provides this hardware with unrivaled performance.
Apple Pencil: This is a feature that will be particularly exciting for iPad fans. The Apple Pencil has already been shown to be an extremely capable, and extremely fun piece of kit that appeals highly to design professionals, as well as those looking to do a little doodling on the iPad. Rather than having to spend a huge amount of money on the larger 12.9-inch iPad, Apple has made this latest iPad Pro compatible with its Pencil.
Smart Connector & Smart Keyboard: The Smart Connector has been garnering a lot of attention after being introduced with the original iPad Pro last year. As expected, this latest smaller iPad model ships with the same type of Smart Connector integration, and brings with it the ability for consumers to purchase and attach a new breed of “smart” accessories to the hardware, such as Apple’s Smart Keyboard, which is now also available in smaller form factor for 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
Camera: If you use your full-sized iPad as your main method of capturing photographs on a daily basis, then you probably need to reconsider the practicalities of that. If that type of setup works for you, then you’ll be pleased to know that this new iPad Pro ships with a 12-megapixel camera offering from iPhone 6s which is capable of shooting 4K video.
Speakers: The iPad is never going to be one of those uber portable devices that consumers use to consume music on the go. Apple has the iPhone and iPod touch for that. The iPad is mostly used for consuming movies, TV shows, and the likes, and therefore Apple has built this particular model with a 4 stereo speaker system that improves the overall sound quality offered by this iPad over the previous 9.7-inch models.
Colors: It seems that Apple has pretty much found the sweet spot when it comes to the external finish of its iOS devices. Once upon a time, it was simply the choice of the very mundane black or white. Now, Apple’s modern devices, which includes this latest 9.7-inch iPad Pro, ships in either Space Gray, Silver, Gold or Rose Gold finish.
Price
  • iPad Pro – 32GB Wi-Fi: $599
  • iPad Pro – 128GB Wi-Fi: $749
  • iPad Pro – 256GB Wi-Fi: $899

Download iOS 9.3 Final Version For iPhone And iPad [Direct Links]

The final version of iOS 9.3 download links are out. Apple has just started rolling out iOS 9.3 IPSW files to all supported iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices with a number of new and notable features that have been stringently tested with developers and public beta testers over the last two months.
iOS 9.3 has been in testing since early January, and it was immediately evident that this wasn’t just another periodical update that offered nothing more than bug fixes and general under-the-hood improvements. We may be all set to witness the first developer seed of iOS 10 this coming June, but Apple has clearly tried to make an impact before that with some excellent additions in this latest version of the platform. That’s all well and good from a consumer perspective, but what exactly can iPhone, iPod touch and iPad owners expect to look forward to with this new iOS 9.3 update?
iOS 9.3 download final main
First and foremost in iOS 9.3 features is the introduction of the fantastic Night Shift feature that the company may or may not admit has been “borrowed” from the popular f.lux app. The feature uses the device’s geo-location to automatically shift the display’s hue to the warmer side of the spectrum based on sunset times in that location. This is to combat the intake of blue light in the evening, which has been proven to be the enemy of efficient sleep patterns. iOS 9.3 also brings in a little more love for Touch ID by introducing the biometric and password protection feature directly into the stock Notes app to secure existing and new notes. Besides this, Apple News app has also received some improvements with faster article loading times and more personalized recommendations in the For You section.
In addition to offering a number of “mainstream” features that will appeal to the majority of iOS device owners, iOS 9.3 also brings a few little niche additions. There are additional 3D Touch Quick Actions available now for the stock Weather, Health, Stocks, Compass, App Store, iTunes Store, and Settings.app. Improvements have been made to Apple Music suggestions while a new “Nearby” feature has been added to CarPlay. There’s also third-party fitness app suggestions now within Apple’s own Health app. Those who own an Apple Watch, and who update said Apple Watch to watchOS 2.2, will be able to pair multiple Apple Watches with an iPhone running iOS 9.3.
iOS 9.3 packs a little something special for just the iPad as well; Education, which is a suite of apps tailored specifically for classroom teaching and learning, thus solidifying the iPad as a valuable tool in the school and classroom setup. On an even more niche scale, iOS 9.3 also features a very interesting enterprise style feature that lets IT administrators lock in a specific Home screen layout on an employee’s corporate device, as well as practice additional power like white and black-listing specific third-party apps to allow or prevent them from running on a device.
To grab the OTA update, head to Settings > General > Software Update on your device to download and install iOS 9.3. If you wish to have a clean installation of iOS 9.3, you can download the IPSW file for your relevant device directly from the links below and then restore it to your device using iTunes.

Meet Apple’s 4-Inch iPhone SE: Specs, Price, Release Date

After what feels like months of constant speculation and conjecture, Apple’s 4-inch iPhone SE has finally been made official. Tim Cook and his band of executives have finally removed the coverings from the mysterious device, and in turn have introduced a 4-inch iPhone that some analysts believe could push sales of that particular form-factor through the roof during 2016. We’re going to jump right in and take a deep look at the device in detail here.
iPhone se main
Features / Specs
Design: The physical design of the new iPhone SE falls completely in line with the previous 4-inch devices that we’ve seen from Apple, namely the iPhone 5/5s. Apple is clearly keen to position the new iPhone SE in the same category as those devices by appealing to individuals who not only loved the older aesthetic of the iPhone 5s, but who want an extremely capable smartphone that falls into this particular size range.
Display: There has been a huge amount of discussion about Apple’s internal plans to move future iPhone models across to OLED displays going forward, but that doesn’t apply in this case. The iPhone SE packs a 4-inch Retina display that offers a 1334 x 750 pixel resolution. As expected, the smartphone doesn’t include a revamped display assembly with embedded 3D Touch pressure sensors, but that will definitely not take us away from the excellent visual experience that all Retina iPhone models provide.
Processor/RAM/Always-on Hey Siri: The iPhone SE is packed with the latest internals from the current flagship iPhone 6s. That includes the excellent Apple-designed A9 processor with accompanying M9 motion coprocessor for activity tracking. That processor integration will not provide the device with a huge amount of power, but it also paves the way for the fantastic always-on “Hey Siri” functionality. Did we mention that the phone also packs 2GB of RAM? Yes it does!
Camera: Like the internals of the device, the camera setup has been inspired by Apple’s current iPhone 6s range as well. That includes a 12-megapixel rear shooter with 4K video recording, and Slo-Mo video recording in 1080p resolution at 60fps, and in 720p resolution at 240fps. Like the iPhone 6s, the phone packs a two-tone flash as well. There’s a forward-facing 5-megapixel offering for those selfie fans out there complete with the Retina Flash, and as you might have expected, the iPhone SE also sports the ability to capture Live Photos. The camera tech packs the Focus Pixels tech, and the ability to capture panoramic shots up to 63MP.
Touch ID v2: As you’d expect from a modern Apple device, the iPhone SE does bring biometric authentication in the form of Apple’s proprietary Touch ID sensor. In fact, this isn’t just any Touch ID offering, this is Touch ID version 2; the same experience that’s embedded in the latest iPhone 6s range and one that provides blistering fast fingerprint recognition with a lot more accuracy than the first iteration of the technology found in iPhone 5s/6.
Apple Pay/NFC: Apple can hardly be expected to make a song and dance about Apple Pay without actually providing all of their new devices with the ability to consume it. The iPhone SE comes equipped with internal NCF capabilities purely for the purpose of allowing owners to setup and transact with Apple’s contactless Apple Pay platform.
Faster LTE: The iPhone SE supports LTE speeds of upto 150 Mbps, which makes it 50% faster than the iPhone 5s.
Battery: It is likely that the phone carries the same battery as the iPhone 5s (1560mAh), but Apple claims to have made vast improvements to the battery life of the iPhone SE.
Software: Nothing surprising here, and as expected the 4-inch reincarnation of the iPhone 5s will come running iOS 9.3 out-of-the-box.
Colors: There’s no real surprise here. Those interested in iPhone SE will have the choice of purchasing the device in Space Gray, Silver, Gold, or Rose Gold, just like the iPhone 6s.

Download MovieBox For iOS 9 / 9.1 / 9.2.1 Without Jailbreak

MovieBox is now available to download and use on iPhones and iPads running iOS 9, 9.1, and also iOS 9.2.1. For those who don’t know, MovieBox is an increasingly popular app, which acts as a portal to providing users with free access to a slew of movies and TV shows on an installed iPhone or iPad.
There’s also some great news for those who want access to this type of functionality, but don’t want to go through the process of jailbreaking their iPhone or iPad. MovieBox app works on iOS 9.2.1 as well for which there is no jailbreak currently available after Apple patched the vulnerabilities in iOS 9.1 which were exploited in the Pangu 9 jailbreak solution. The latest version of MovieBox is available via vShare, and can be downloaded to an iPhone or iPad via the usual methods that saw previous versions of the app accessed so many times.
moviebox main iOS 9
If you’re new to the world of MovieBox, then you need to be aware that accessing and installing the app isn’t quite as simple as performing a search in Apple’s iOS App Store and hitting the “Install” button. Due to the nature of the service, and the fact that it simply wouldn’t be allowed on the App Store due to the number of guidelines that it contravenes, the installation process can be a little convoluted and alien to those users who aren’t used to installing certificates onto a device to get software of this nature pass Apple’s security mechanisms.
MovieBox 2
If the world of Enterprise Profiles is entirely new to you then you may encounter a little issue when trying to install and run MovieBox app on iOS 9. Apple doesn’t really want iOS device owners running apps like MovieBox onto their devices, and probably rightly so in all honesty. So, to that end, iOS 9 users could potentially see a message stating that the app is offered by an “Untrusted Enterprise Developer”. This is essentially iOS saying that this installation comes from an unknown source and that it isn’t happy to let it run until you explicitly give the permission to run it.
If you get this message, it simply means that you need to head to Settings > General > Profile(this will only exist as a menu option if you have a profile installed). Select the certificate in question, and then click on the “Trust” option. That should allow the app to run smoothly on iOS 9.

Apple’s 9.7-Inch iPad Pro Could Feature 12MP Camera With 4K Recording Capabilities

Apple’s upcoming 9.7-inch iPad Pro is not only a tablet that consumers are looking forward to getting their hands on, but also one that Apple believes could potentially reignite the dwindling passion that has recently seeped out of the tablet market. Early speculation suggested that the hardware could be ultimately comparable to the existing 12.9-inch iPad Pro in terms of functionality, but it’s now being suggested that there could be one key difference other than form factor; the camera sensor that ships with the tablet.
The current 12.9-inch iPad Pro – which has been fairly successfully marketed at and adopted by the education and business markets – ships with a fairly capable 8-megapixel camera sensor. Given the current iPad Pro’s target demographic, and the fact that it’s a fairly substantial offering in terms of size and form factor, it’s probably accepted internally at Apple that not a huge percentage of owners will regularly use it for photography purposes. As pointed out by 9to5Mac, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro appears to be a different ball game, and will speculatively ship with an improved 12-megapixel sensor, akin to the camera of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, with 4K video recording capabilities.
iPad-Pro-vs-iPad-Air-2-vs-iPad-mini-4-display-comparison
Apple will likely accept that the iPad’s main use case is unlikely to be snapping photographs while out and about. Consumers generally have a more portable iPhone, or a digital and dedicated camera for that type of activity. However, given the fact that the upcoming iPad Pro contains a smaller form factor, consumers are likely to be a lot more inclined and susceptible to just pulling it out and shooting images and videos with it, hence the improved camera experience. With that in mind, we’re still hoping that we don’t see a new breed of people utilizing an iPad as their main photography device going forward.
ipad-pro-smart-keyboard-01
Like the majority of recent iPad models, the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro will also include forward-facing FaceTime HD camera for exceptional selfies and of course FaceTime calling as well.  Additional rumored specifications for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro include an Apple A9X processor, integrated display tech that works in conjunction with the Apple Pencil, a four speaker system, and a Smart Connector that will support Apple’s new and improved Smart Keyboard cover. We just have to wait until March 21 to see if it gets introduced alongside the iPhone SE.

Apple Plans Switch To OLED With 2017 iPhone 7s Instead Of 2018 iPhone 8

A lot of the Apple-related speculation over the last few months has attempted to focus solely on the introduction of the iPhone SE, along with the potential specification and feature set of theiPhone 7. Now, a new report coming out of China is suggesting that Apple is planning to push forward with plans to move across to OLED display technology within a new iPhone as early as 2017. If true, it means that Apple would be effectively bringing forward the earlier rumored plans to adopt OLED display tech, which was originally slated for the 2018 iPhone models.
Apple has reportedly already been through a process of reaching out to the likes of Samsung and LG to gauge the potential of ramping up OLED display production levels so that it can feel comfortable enough to put an OLED iPhone into production. Early reports pertaining to those negotiations suggested that initial discussions, which started taking place in December of last year, have reached a point where Apple is ready to strike a deal with the two companies potentially worth upwards of $12 billion over the lifecycle of the contract. Those reports too suggested that the deal was for 2018 iPhones. Today’s report says Apple could in fact be doing all that for its next year’s iPhone 7s series instead of iPhone 8.
iPhone HUD 1
Apple is clearly keen to bring an OLED-based iPhone to the market sooner rather than later. The underlying reasoning behind the internal decision to move away from LCD display technology to OLED is part of a larger plan to not only bring an improved viewing experience to the iPhone for end-users, but to also reinvigorate sales of the hardware in the wake of doom and gloom predictions from a number of industry analysts. The iPhone may still be one of the most popular smartphones on the planet, but Apple’s marketing machine will continuously be looking for way to convince consumers to upgrade to a newer iPhone model more often. There’s also the added appeal of trying to convince users to churn away from Samsung’s AMOLED-sporting phones in favor of an iPhone.
iPhone-3D-Touch
The benefits of OLED integration can often go beyond just adding marketing appeal to a device. OLED display panels are often thinner than those using LCD technology, meaning that Apple can be more confident in shaving the thickness off future iPhone models. They also tend to use less battery, resulting in increased battery life for the iPhone. As always, it’s worth digesting and banking on this report with a healthy amount of skepticism. Those who have consistently proven to have intricate knowledge of Apple’s plans – such as analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities – still believe that we won’t see the rise of OLED iPhones until 2019 at the earliest.
