OS X 10.10 Yosemite features brand new design

Apple just announced OS X 10.10 Yosemite on stage at WWDC 2014, introducing an all-new design. Toolbars have been refined, translucency has been added to titlebars and toolbars, and there is a new emphasis on clarity.

Yosemite takes a number of cues from last year's redesigned iOS 7. In addition to a cleaner, more transparent UI, OS X also makes use of depth and placement. The typography of OS X has been refreshed as well, and a dark mode has been included to help reduce distraction.
