Apple is set to unveil a new, one-of-a-kind retail store in Venice, Italy that will be filled wall-to-wall with all manner of unknown goodies. The store, which cannot float and therefore will not be accessible via gondola, is located at the Nave de Vero mall, and is currently covered with an impenetrable black shroud that hides what will surely be a completely unique and never-before-seen store layout the likes of which will be remembered for years to come.
Or -- maybe -- it's going to look like your standard mall-based Apple Store. In fact, yeah, that's probably what it's going to look like.
As MacRumors notes, new Apple retail openings are typically accompanied by a t-shirt giveaway for the first thousand customers to step through the door, so while you might not be visiting the world's first floating Apple Store, you could still walk away with some free swag.
