These new editions come just in time for those out there who would like to own an iOS device and see what Apple Music is all about without having to buy and iPhone or iPad. As well as increasing the iPod touch’s specifications, cosmetic changes have also been added to the iPod nano and the iPod shuffle for those on a tighter budget.

The latest iPod touch is now the 6th generation model and it comes with an Apple 64-bit A8 processor which is the same as the iPhone 6. It also comes in five stunning colors; space gray, blue, gold, pink, and silver. Jailbreak iOS 8.4 Now on PC and Mac With PP and TaiG

This week it's all about jailbreaks and fixes for those with Apple devices. Cydia has had an update too and with Cydia 1.1.23 came two major new features as well as some bug fixes. The TaiG jailbreak was updated to 2.4.2 to fix the "jailbreak stuck at 30% and 40%" issue that a lot of people were reporting. We also had the release of the GameBench report that compared Apple's iPhone 6 with the Samsung Galaxy S6 and it looks like the iPhone 6 outperforms in the high-end gaming benchmark test. A new report by Canaccord was also released that shows the Apple's iPhone now owns 92% of all smartphone market profits. All in all it has been a great week for idevice users and below is some more detailed information on these stories.

With the new version of Cydia, 1.1.23, users have the ability to downgrade packages to the last stable release and this can be done very easily. They can also downgrade to any previous version of the ssame package as long as it is available in the repository. This means that whenever a tweak causes issues, all you have to do is downgrade back to the older version. This can be done by tapping on Modify > Downgrade from the tweak's page on Cydia.

The Second major feature added to Cydia today is a tweaks discovery feature which is actually inspired by TweakHub. On the main Cydia page, you will now find a new option for “Find Extensions for Applications” which will basically present you a categorized list of all the possible Cydia Substrate based tweaks available in Cydia to customize or enhance the stock or App Store apps installed on your iPhone or iPad.

Apple has also released iTunes 12.2.1 for Mac and Windows. This version is packed with bug fixes and performance enhancements. You are probably aware that the previous version had some serious issues with iTunes Match and other features that were introduced with Apple Music. This new release promises to fix these issues.

The first iOS 8.4 jailbreak tool for Mac OS X was released today and it is called PP and this jailbreak comes from the Chinese team 25PP. PP jailbreak supports all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 8.4 all the way back to iOS 8.1.3. You can download the English version of PP jailbreak for Mac OS X which comes with Cydia 1.1.20 pre-installed. PP jailbreak requires a Mac running at least OS X version 10.7 or above to work.

If you are looking for a jailbreak for your iPhone or iPad, you now have a number of options avialable to you. You can use the TaiG jailbreak or the PP jailbreak depending on whether you have a PC or Mac.

Export Spotify Playlists And Import Into Apple Music The Easy Way With STAMP

Apple Music is here and it looks like it is going to be really popular. Looking at the figures for the uptake of iOS 8.4 and the estimated number of three-month free trials that have been applied for, it looks like Apple Music is not only here to stay, but it also going to disrupt the music streaming industry. We could very well see a lot of people moving from other streaming services such as Spotify and if you become one of them; it can now be made even easier thanks to a handy little AppleScript app called STAMP. With STAMP you can export your playlists from Spotify and import them into Apple Music. Below you will find out exactly how to do this.

The first thing you need to do is download and install the STAMP app from: stamp.hern.as. If you are doing this from your computer you may have to rick click on the app file and select “open” to bypass security settings for apps downloaded from sources that OS X doesn’t recognize. Alternatively you can head over to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and manually allow apps from untrusted sources to run on your Mac.

You will notice that STAMP comes with two main options. These are importing songs from a provided .CSV file or importing directly from Spotify using existing login credentials. You will need to select the Import songs directly from Spotify option. You will be asked to put in your Spotify login details. STAMP will then begin searching through the provided Spotify account and a new app overlay will provide a list of the content that it was able to pull from Spotify. You will then be able to select the content that you want from the list. All you have to do then is click on the “Parse” button.

You do have to make sure that iTunes is open on your computer and that you are logged in. You also have to make sure that you have created an Apple Music account so that the STAMP app can do all the hard work and adding all your favorite Spotify songs into your Apple Music library.

It is important to note that the free version of STAMP is limited to parsing 10 songs per session. If you want to parse an unlimited number of songs per session, you have to pay $5. If you do use STAMP to add your Spotify playlists to Apple Music please let us know what your experience was like in the comments below.

Jailbreak iOS 8.4 With TaiG v2.3 On iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 5s, And More

With the release of iOS 8.4 we have also been treated to the an updated to the amazing TaiG jailbreak software. TaiG v2.3 jailbreak for iOS 8.4 is now available for all those who wish to upgrade to the latest and greatest Apple firmware. With iOS 8.4 you also get Apple Music which is proving to be extremely popular. The TaiG v2.3 jailbreak for iOS 8.4 is available for iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 4s, all iPads and the iPod Touch 5. You can download it now and be sure to check out the video at the end of this post to see it in action.

The first beta of iOS 8.4 was released back in April and later that month, i0n1c became the first person to jailbreak this new firmware. He demonstrated his jailbreak, which probably used different exploits to the ones being used by TaiG, on an iPhone 6 that was running iOS 8.4 beta 1.

At the WWDC this year Apple announced that they would be releasing Apple Music as part of the final version of iOS 8.4 which would be available to the public on the 30th of June. This has come to pass and iOS 8.4 was released with support for Apple Music, Beats 1 and more. TaiG had released a jailbreak for firmwares up to iOS 8.3 the week before iOS 8.4 went public and a lot of people in the jailbreak community were worries that Apple would patch the exploits being used before the final release of iOS 8.4. We are delighted to be able to say that this didn’t actually happen and a mere couple of hours after the public release, iOS 8.4 was jailbroken.

There was some drama to be had and PP jailbreak by 25PP was the first to release the jailbreak for iOS 8.4. TaiG then accused them of stealing the code and releasing the jailbreak based on TaiG’s exploit. An hour after the release of PP jailbreak, TaiG released an updated version of their tool v2.2.0 and later 2.3.0 which would jailbreak iOS 8.4. Like all previous releases of the TaiG jailbreak, TaiG for iOS 8.4 supports all iOS devices including the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 5s, 5c, 4s, iPad 4/3/2, iPad mini 3/2/1, iPad Air 2/1 and iPod touch 5. The main thing with this jailbreak is that it offers support for iOS 8.4 but it is also backwards compatible which means it will jailbreak iOS 8.1.3, 8.2, and iOS 8.3 too.

Below you will find a video tutorial that shows the TaiG jailbreak for iOS 8.4 in action. Be sure to check it out and leave your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
