If you're still concerned over whether or not Apple services and software were affected by the Heartbleed vulnerability found in OpenSSL that took many web companies by surprise, Apple has now given an official statement on the matter.
“Apple takes security very seriously. IOS and OS X never incorporated the vulnerable software and key Web-based services were not affected,”
As we highlighted earlier though, just because Apple software and services are safe that doesn't mean you're in the clear. If you're using other apps and services on your devices those too may have been affected.
It's best to keep checking with those vendors and suppliers to ensure they're taking the needed measures to keep things secure as well in addition to changing your passwords ASAP when and where it is suggested to do so. Which, really is pretty much everywhere, affected or not.
