The Transit App 3.2 gets a widget, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus support


Transit App has hit version 3.2, ready for iOS 8, as well as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. In addition to supporting the resolutions of those devices, The Transit App comes with a Notification Center widget.


The widget for Transit App lets you see nearby lines without even opening the app. It shows the three closest public transit lines near you. If available, you can see the next two arrivals in real time from the widget, and you can switch directions by tapping a line. To enable the widget, hit Edit in Notification Center, the add the Nearby Lines widget from the available list.


The app now supports bike sharing in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Denver, milwaukee, Madison, Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Honolulu County in Hawaii, and Broward County in Florida. Transit App has also added support for London, Berlin, Hamburg, and Ulm as part of their European expansion.


Transit App is available for download right now from the App Store.
