Despite what you think about Beats Electronics, the company knows how to sell headphones. In 2013, nearly four Solos (a headphone model from Beats Electronics) sold every minute around the world. That's crazy for device, let alone headphones that cost about $170. Yesterday Apple announced their intent to acquire Beats Electronics and Beats Music for a whopping $3 billion. Today, Beats is announcing the Solo2 - the sequel to one of their most popular headphone models.
The Solo2 has been redesigned from the inside out. Acoustics have been updated and improved to allow a wider range of sound and enhanced clarity. The design of the Solo2 still maintains the sleek, streamlined aesthetic found in the Beats Studio. Earcups are now ergonomically angled to give a more natural fit.
The Solo2 will be available in black, white, red, blue, gray and pink. The red color is an official (RED) product, proceeds help to battle AIDS.
The Solo2 from Beats Electronics are now available for pre-order on the Beats website and will set you back $199.99.
