Microsoft is rolling out a new update for Lync Mobile for both the iPad and iPhone versions that includes a new feature, Gallery View, that enables users of the business-themed messaging and video conferencing app to watch up to four video streams at once on the iPad version.
Microsoft says of the new iPad update for Lync Mobile:
"Lync automatically detects and shows the video streams of the most active speakers in the meeting. With the new Gallery View on the iPad, and the four live video streams, you can now feel the same wonderful experience you have on the Desktop and on Lync for Windows 8."
In addition, both the iPad and iPhone versions of Lync Mobile now allow administrators control over which users can enter a lobby for a meeting. Finally this new update adds a way for the Lync Mobile admin to turn any meeting participant from an attendee to a presenter and vice-versa.
