Seth Rogan has been tapped to play the role of Steve Wozniak in Aaron Sorkin's upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, Variety reports. The 32-year-old actor, known for his roles in films such as 40 Year Old Virgin and Pineapple Express, will star alongside Christian Bale who recently agreed to take on the role of Jobs.
The full extent of Rogan's role at this point remains unclear. Recall that Sorkin's script will not be a traditional cradle to grave biopic. Instead, the film will reportedly be comprised of three 30-minute scenes, each of which takes place backstage before a big product announcement from Jobs, the first one being Jobs 1984 unveiling of the original Mac.
That said, Woz's role within Apple was already rather limited by the time the first Mac was introduced. Nonetheless, Sorkin's track record speaks for itself and I'd certainly wager that the film will be leaps and bounds better than the forgettable JOBS movie starring Ashton Kutcher.
