Apple announced today that it will start accepting submissions for Apple Watch app updates from all developers.
This follows the release of the first Apple Watch-enabled apps onto the App Store last week. However, where those updates were only for select partner apps, today's announcement opens the door for all developers to submit their Apple Watch updates.
The announcement was made via Apple's developer portal for the Apple Watch, which also details several guidelines to creating apps for the wearable using the WatchKit SDK.
As a reminder, pre-orders for the Apple Watch begin on April 10, with a release date set for April 24. With Apple accepting app submissions with a little under a month to go, it looks like the Apple Watch will have a pretty good app ecosystem right out of the gate.
