TwoDots brings back the classic mobile puzzle game with a few new twists. As before you're dragging lines between same-colored dots on a grid to eliminate them, and the game is still free to play with a few light in-app purchases tossed in. This time there are 85 set levels to work through, each with new types of obstacles and different types of dots to work with and around. Previously in Dots, you were simply chasing after a high score, but here you've got a set collection of challenges to chew on. You'll also have new power-ups to help you along the way.
Though the core game in TwoDots is still very minimalist in its visual style, there are actual characters involved this time, and the levels have a bit more going on than before. For folks that have already had their fill of the original Dots, these additions may be welcome, but to me the charm of Dots was how it pared away absolutely everything but the most core aspect of gameplay. As is, Dots is still one of our favorite free iOS games out there. In any case, download the sequel below and let us know what you think!
