Video shows supposed 4.7-inch 'iPhone 6' display scratched by sandpaper, suggests not sapphire

In a video posted to YouTube late Friday, a part purported to be Apple's "iPhone 6" cover glass was again exposed to a torture test, this time failing to resist scratches from garnet sandpaper, a material softer than sapphire.

A pair of images out of Asia on Friday supposedly show a flex cable for an unannounced Apple product, containing a Lightning connector port, microphone and unusually large headphone jack.









Rumor: 12" Retina MacBook Air may be pushed back to 2015, next-gen models hit production in August

Rumors out of Taiwan on Friday claim Apple's anticipated 12-inch MacBook Air may be delayed into 2015 due to processor supply constraints, but release of the next-generation 11-inch and 13-inch models will be on time as partner suppliers in East Asia are receiving parts for mass production.









Full scale segment of Apple's Campus 2 'spaceship' facade revealed in photos

A pair of photos published to the Web on Friday claim to show a full-size segment of the glass and steel facade bound for Apple's Campus 2 "spaceship" building in Cupertino.









Apple responds to EC complaints by touting iTunes' app controls as 'leading the industry,' cites iOS 8 "Ask To Buy" feature

In response to complaints published by European Commission regulators regarding In App Purchases, Apple has issued a statement outlining that it already does more than anyone else in the industry, and will be further enhancing its efforts to secure app purchases by children in iOS 8 this fall.
