Apple's Black Friday sale is now live with the company offering a Product(RED) iTunes gift card for each eligible purchase. Gift card amounts range from $25 to $100 depending on the items being purchased. The promotion is available in both Apple's retail and online stores and includes the following gift card amounts:
- iPhone ($50 gift card): iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c
- iPad ($50 gift card): iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad mini
- Mac ($100 gift card): iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Retina iMac, Retina MacBook Pro
- iPod ($25 gift card): iPod touch, iPod nano
- Apple TV ($25 gift card)
- Beats by Dr. Dre ($25 gift card): headphones and speakers
Apple's Black Friday sale is part of a larger promotion for Worlds Aids Day 2014. On Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Apple will donate a percentage of its sales to the Global Fund to Fight Aids. The company also created a special Apps for (RED) section in the App Store, which features exclusive new content for the promotion. All proceeds from app and in-app purchases will be donated to the Global Fund.
