How to use Notability

After downloading and opening the app on your device, you get several tools to create notes, including the eraser, the scissors, the pen, the highlighter and the camera. You can create handwritten notes, sketches, and add images when required. Start typing by tapping and holding, and add images to them. Tap the Compose button to start a new note.

You can manipulate, rotate and scale handwritten notes and images to make the content fit to the document. Once a page has been filled, you can use the next page. The app can be used for a variety of applications, such as for sharing team notes, recording lectures, and signing a contract. You can also choose different styles of pen and paper.

Notability is compatible with several sharing and storage services including Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, Box, iTunes, WebDAV, which can be used to store the notes. Notes can also be shared with Twitter and email for easy collaboration.

Other options include customization of width, note settings and pen color. You can also search for notes through keywords and the title. An audio button is also there to let you record auio memos. While typing, you can choose the font color, font size, and typefaces like underline, italic and bold.

At the bottom right is an icon for a magnifying glass, which opens a window that let you write more precisely on the page, and there is also an auto-scrolling feature that lets you fill pages with handwritten notes.

The latest version of the app impresses by giving you tools that you need to jot down notes and get creative with them. You’ll also see beautiful icons and menus in the new interface. The app works on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus and is compatible with iOS 8.
