Why You should Wait for the iPhone 7 Before You Make Your Next Purchase

Now that we are nearing the end of June we can see September easing its way towards us and that means just one thing, a new iPhone model. We already known that many iPhone buyers are trying to make up their mind on whether or not to buy a new iPhone 6 or 6 Plus right now or wait for Apple to announce the next generation iPhone come September. We all love new toys and in this post we want to point out some of the reasons why you should wait a little longer for Apple to announce the new iPhone 7 before you spend your hard earned cash.

Larger and Thicker

The next generation iPhone whether it is to be called the iPhone 6s or the iPhone 7 is rumoured to be thicker and larger than the iPhone 6 that it will replace. This should remove the threat of another bendgate as we seen with last year’s big release. A marginal thicker body on the new iPhone will also put an end to the protruding camera lens on the back.

Force Touch

Force touch is another thing that we are hearing quite a bit about and we would be very surprised if the next iPhone didn’t support Force Touch. Previous reports have revealed that iOS 9 is Force Touch reading and this had led us to believe that the next Apple iPhone will also have the tech for initiation of actions by using a firmer touch on the display just like the Apple Watch. It is also rumoured that Force Touch will be exclusive to the iPhone 6s Plus but we need to wait and see if this really is the case.

Improved Performance

Rumors have also suggested that the next iPhone model will include a whole 2GB of RAM just like the iPad Air 2. It is also like that it will have Apple’s next generation A9 chip. The advantage to these is better multitasking, apps will launch quicker, and gaming will be better than ever.

Larger Battery and Camera Upgrade

Apple is expected to put a slightly larger battery inside the next iPhone and we know that any battery improvement will be very welcome. The next iPhone is also set to have a front-facing camera with 1080p video recording capabilities with flash support. This means that the next iPhone will be a selfie king. This was discovered in the iOS 9 beta code so we can’t wait to see it manifest. It is also rumoured that the iPhone 6s is going to have an improved rear camera too with 12 megapixels.

The next iPhone is just around the corner and this means that we are going to see lots of leaks, reports and rumors circulating over the next couple of months. According to a leak from Vodafone, we should see the announcement for the new iPhone in September just as we did last year.

With all the rumoured features for the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus it really is the worst time to purchase an iPhone 6/6 plus now. If you are looking to upgrade your device we would definitely recommend that you wait a couple of months as you will get a better purchase in the long run.
