If you're using Family Sharing, you can not only share a calendar with everyone in your group, but you can also share reminders. From shopping list items to household chores, packing lists to game day tasks, shared reminders are a great way to keep the whole family organized and engaged. The best part is once you've enabled Family Sharing, you're good to go!
- Launch the Reminders app on iPhone and iPad.
- Tap on Family from the main list view.
- Tap anywhere in the main view to pull up the keyboard.
- Type a reminder and hit the return key to finish or the info button to view more options.
- On the info screen, you can add a due date or location if you'd like. Just tap Done when you're finished.
The Family List is automatically created for you and everyone in your group as soon as you enable Family Sharing. So, as long as you use that list, creating shared reminders is just as easy as creating a regular reminder. Give it a try!
