AgileBits' popular iOS password manager 1Password is now available for free ahead of tomorrow's public release of iOS 8. The app has usually been offered for $17.99, although it did see a price cut last month which brought it to $9.99.It is unknown as to why AgileBits has decided to offer 1Password for free, however the app will soon receive a significant update to take advantage of some of the new features in iOS 8, including support for Touch ID access and the ability to input saved passwords in Safari and ot1her apps.

Update 10:12 PM: AgileBits has stated on Twitter that the app is being offered for free due to an App Store error, and is expected to go back to regular price once iOS 8 is released tomorrow.
