iOS 8's first update appears to be breaking both cellular service and Touch ID on devices, and restarting the device doesn't fix it. Multiple users on social media are reporting the bugs and our own Steve Sande has fallen victim to the unfortunately busted update as well, with an iPhone 6 now incapable of receiving a cell signal and a home button fingerprint sensor that doesn't function as it should. So for now, hold off on the update and we'll see what Apple has to say.
