Check out Tim Cook’s interview in full here Posted: 15 Sep 2014 09:00 AM PDT Tim Cook's interview with Charlie Rose for PBS is now available online, or at least the first part, and you can of course see it right here on this page. The Apple CEO sat down for a lengthy interview, with the second part due to air tonight. Over the first part, Cook talked at length with Rose over an hour that included touching base on most things Apple. Without further ado, you can check out the interview via the video below. Sadly, the video may not work if you are in certain regions. During the discussion Cook touched on the Apple ethos, where the company was headed, and where it has been. He also went into detail about how he perceives his role at Cupertino and how he has handled negative press surrounding him. Cook's tenure as Apple CEO has often been summed up as "he's not Steve Jobs". However, in response to that, he was convincing and heartfelt in saying he had no intentions being like Jobs. Cook probably has recent history on his side, because while Apple has not necessarily pushed boundaries into new products, he has oversaw the most successful period in the company's history. Of course, doing well financially is not what Apple is all about, at least to the consumer, but Cook insisted that the products are still the best and that the company is working on products that are not even rumoured yet. The second hour of the interview will show tonight on PBS, but we will bring you it online when it is posted, but Rose extended a teaser as one of the questions he puts to Cook is. What is there after the internet? We will be watching with bated breath to see Cook's response to that and anything else that he has to say through the remainder of what has so far been a fascinating insight.
